    Hi All,

I had found this moss same location as the thread I posted before i.e at Kedah, Malaysia. This moss had been submersed in my tank for 3 weeks already and it still show very fresh green color.

The leaves was very small, like you can see in the photo, it attached to a small piece of tree root which I found beside the river. The root was magnified in this photo and the whole section was about 3cm size only.

I can't really tell whether this is a new type of aquatic moss ...lets observe for longer time and I will post the update in future.

    Kimmo,

Like you see in the photo, I only had a very small patch at this moment. When I collected the tree root I dint realized this moss was on it.
I will try to propagate them and if success I will send some to you.

^Okey, no hurry. If you send some of it to professor Tan someday, he could figure out name of that moss.

    Chris,

What you have could be a species of Heteroscyphus, either H. argutus or H. zollingeri. It's a liverwort that is common to both Malaysia and Singapore. If you can show us a close-up picture of the leaf structure (how the leaves branch off from the main stem), we may be able to come up with a better identification.
