I'm currently thinking of adding some small corydoras in my fry tanks, thinking that any uneaten bbs will be eagerly eaten by the cories. Anyone uses this technique, or tried it before?

What are the cons and pros?

I don't have any direct experience - but I do have some corydoras in with my community tank (espei rasboras, corydoras, and fundulopanchax gardneri). The gardneri's entirely ignore the corydoras, even if they are practically searching them. The corydoras don't display any aggression, although I hear that they are ravenous around eggs.

My guess would be that they wouldn't be a problem around fry, but they may try to gobble up food.
    Thank you,
    -Peter L.

I use snails and dwarf shrimp to eat excess baby brine shrimp in my fry tanks. The shrimp are very effective scavengers and also are great indicators of water quality.

Yesterday I bought 8 Aspidoras pauciradiatus, and placed 2 in each fry tank, which I have occupied at the moment.

They seem to get well along together, no signs of bullying whatsoever .. they grow only to 3.5cm which is ideal imo.

Anyone every kept these catfish in his tanks?

    Will keep you posted
