Moss that can grow in pH 8.0 ?

Hi bros,

I'm setting up a Sulawesi tank so just want to ask for advise on any moss/small plants that can survive in high pH, hard water condition and 28C-31C temp? I tried the hardy Marimo moss ball but not quite successful

it's dying. The surface is turning brown in spite of they are still doing a lot of O2 bubble. I think Mamiro is suitable for soft and acidic water. However the sulawesi shrimps much like to collect food on the balls.
