That handsome fellow is the male Nothobranchius rubripinnis. From what I've heard they are one of the more difficult Nothos to keep.

Is he yours? He looks great!

Hi Hristo, any chance that this 'monster' is a male Rivulus hartii? Beautiful shots!

My exact thoughts... a Nile Pike. The close-up shots made it look menacing and I'll bet that the Blue Gularis won't look very friendly either. Hey Hristo, so what killie is this?

Thank you for the guessing, Pals!
The name of this Guy, given to me from a fried of mine (Kiril K.) suppose to be:

    Here is some more shots:

    Yes!
When I had asked my friend(Kiril Kardashev), who gave to me that Nothos Guy: How that Killi specimen could become so BIG…if the All others Nothos in the same plash-pool is around 3-4cm.!?…
He answered: “- After the dry season coming and the pool lower its size…going to dry up – There is just that one specimen survive till the end, because All others had become just for the his final food…”

Mother Nature sure has her own amazing ways. In this case, let's just hope that the ocellatus has a longer egg-incubation period, to give the other Notho species a head start, or that the fry grows at a much slower rate. If not, the other adult Nothos won't stand a chance against this bugger!

Hristo, what are you feeding it with? Guppies??

I don't know what fish are those but I must say Hristo takes the most amazing pictures. The clarity is incredible.

Continuing with another toothy, but handsome Nothos - Nothobranchius hassoni DRCH 2008-10 Bukena

The close up gives a possibility to see some impressive details of its pattern, face and...teeth:
