    Has anyone tried this combination.

Eheim Classic 2213 has a flow rate of 440 L/Hr at 1.5m lift.
The Resun CL280 recommends a flow rate of >900 L/Hr.

My question is, if I have the Eheim canister at 0m lift, basically placing it directly beside the chiller, do you think the flow rate will be sufficient?

Comments or suggestions please? Should I be considering an inline pump.

nope, definetly not enough. The requirement is > 900 l/h. Your filter flowrate will reduce considerably after you put in filter media. What mention/written in the filter spec is just the pump flow rate.
