After close to 5 years into aquascape I still got the same problem. I can't seems to get the tank for stemmed plants. Even low demanding plants like MM I have problem with.

Can the bros here share with me what's the main cause that causes my stemmed plants to "snap off".

    Current tank condition

    4 x 2 x 2
    27 deg
    Ph 6.2
    KH ?
    GH ?
Lights 54 x 4 for 7 hours (3.5 hrs rest for 2 hours then 3.5 hrs) temporary for algae recovery
Dosing weekly : Lushgro mirco and macro with some potassium dosing

    Please advise.

What do you mean by snap off? you mean the stem plant float after a while?

For MM usually if not enought light reaching the bottom, it will rot and float. You might want to try rotalla.
