    Vican and TSY,

Keep us posted on whether they really eat algae in your plant tanks. An update on my tank. Since I started feeding the the fishes, them seem to have slowed down. Behaving a bit like SAEs. Gonna try to starve them during CNY and see they will go back to grazing BBA.

    Gong Xi Fa Cai!!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

So far, they don't seem to be eating the algae in the foreground. On and off, I do see them breaking off from the school ( they school with the SAEs) to feed in between the vals in the background. The BBA on the driftwood seems untouched so far.

benny, they are wacking the bba on the wood . almost clear now, maybe i feed my fishes every 3 days. i find that sae eat mainly green algae don't touch bba.

After monitoring for few days, the fishes are still not eating the algae on the driftwood. I have noticed that 1 of them pecking at my LDA 33. Luckily, the LDA 33 doesn't look much the worse

These could be pretty aggressive fishes?

    Hi TSY,

Hey I was there to buy 2 more too!! Seem that they are working hard in my tank and decided to beef up the cleaning crew. Saw the BBA infested nanas on driftwood and the fishes pecking on them. Seems like he is running out of stocks of this fish very quickly.

    Cheers,

    Hi guys,

Received quite a few queries about this fish and availability.

    Anostomus ternetzi - Black-band Anostomus/ Cigarfish

I just saw a new shipment arrived at That Fish and Pet Place in Hougang Ave 1 today. If you guys are interested, better make your way down very soon. Seem that there is only 4 pieces in this shipment.

    Cheers,

Mine still not eating the bba on the driftwood. Also noticed that 1 of them is particularly aggressive, chasing the rest. It even dares to nibble on the anal fin of my 12" aro!

If I see any slight damage to my aro's fins, it's going to be the next feeder for my LH

    Hi Vican,

I think some of us here will be more than happy to inherit it from you or exchange for a package of ghost shrimps![]

Can I be on the waiting list?

    Benny,

Thanks for the recommendation. And I got mine courtesy from Theo2001. He got it from Ben@Tiong Bahru. According to him, it is the same one we saw in your tank without any red colouration.

Are you guys sure you want this particular pc ? It seems to be the most aggressive fish in my tank! But I'll keep you guys in mind if I decide to remove it instead of feeding my LH. Quite fedup with it
