Chiller for Planted Tank

Hi,
first timer. Intends to set up a 4 feet planted tank. Doing my shopping now. 1 question:

Is there a need to have a Chiller for the tank? If so, how much would 1 cost? Wats an alternative?

not really necessary unless you want to grow low temperature plants. alternatively, you can use ac or dc fans and these will enable you to maintain about 27-28 deg.
