Do you guys know that garlic (not the commercially solution/paste tyope) is good in many ways?...One of which is to boost our fishes immune system so as to prevent "headaches" occurances.

    cheers

If you do a search, there was quite an active discussion on garlic and white spot treatment some time back.

For me, I did try soaking some food with garlic in the past, but my fishes didn't like it... almost all the food sank to the bottom with none eaten.

    Hi
My experience is limited to arowana in general. It seems that administering fresh cut garlic once a month to the arowana diet helps in boosting the immune system.

The garlic treatment is best applied 3 days in a row for once a month only. It seems that it works well. Arowana just like any other fishes will have a specific "tastebud" ...there are food which they like and there are others which will not be readily accepted.

We need to know to "conceal" the garlic within the food that we feed to our fishes. It is easier for the case of arowana as the cut garlic can be easily stuff inside the prawn using a tooth pic.

    cheers
