I'm much more familiar with land plants than I'm with aquatic flora so kindly bear with me. My premise is that the fish droppings will provide the basic fertiliser (also a good way to keep clean water for the fauna) while added trace elements provide the growth boost. The bottom line is the efficient removal of nitrates and nice plants as a byproduct![]()
Yes I will take your advice and refrain from adding NPK unless I'm adding CO2. Thanks! The last thing I want is dead fish! (Although the ghost shrimp can go)
