I find Salifert the best so far.

Of course there are better ones, I believe, which is not available in Singapore.

If I can get the NO3 photometer, then that will be dream comes true.

Both Sera and JBL work for me. But if possible within budget, will prefer digital testers.

Hi. I am quite new to fish tank water management. So i am seeking advise on water testers. I thought this thread is appropriate.

The PH readings produced by JBL "EasyTest 5 in 1" Test strip displays a PH value of 6.4, but my Tetra PH test (test tube + solution) produces a result of 7. I have run these tests several times now.

Also, given the JBL test strip displays a KH value of 6, if the PH was 6.4, my CO2 would be 72 (using the formula =3*KH*(10^(7-PH)). However my fish are very healthy and are not showing any signs of CO2 poisoning, which I would expect with a CO2 of 72! To compound this, my plants are not producing oxygen bubbles, nor are they thriving, which again suggests the CO2 is not so high. The temperature of my tank is 26.7 degrees celsius.

any ideas what is going on here?
    cheers
    deeloke.

Sera (PH, GH) and API (PH, KH).
