    Silane you serious?
Anyway, you can house 30-50 pieces for your 1ft, make sure don't over feed and maintain a good water condition.

Given this setup, I would say 10 pieces at most.

Sorry for the censored part. Ha ha. The actually thing is for my boss to see. Luckily, the tank was not in my previous company "Matsushita". A bit too long. I have 5 horned snails/5 adult (2cm) B-C grade hino (ha ha left only 5/12) 2 pregnant now with eggs after transferred from my home tank a month ago, 4 sulawesi cardinal shrimps which i suspected also gave birth (saw 6 hours ago ~ 1 strange looking red shrimp on the mud rock on the right) and lastly a malayan. Overcrowding will soon be my problem. Oh ya... 5 small SS hino from jerome today.

Just an update after searching for sulawesi shrimplets. Found the same weird looking shrimp in this posting.

Better do a check in your tank before dumping in more, I see some COS, color very bad, that could mean problems to come, if their color not because if age.

    What gravel is that?

HI just keep a look in the market. You can see many people selling them. Range from grade c to sss. Normally, they will sell cheaper than you asking for them. A "b" grade shrimp will cost about $4 in LFS (For your reference only)
