    Hi guys...

First of all, merry christmas to all of you out there.

I am new to planted tank and im setting up my living room tank so i really need some help here.

My tank is 120cm by 45cm by 60cm deep. It is currently lighted with a total of 170watt of lights. Is this amount of light enough for my tank? Co2 is pumped in at around 5bps using a Glass Diffusor.

I am using Regular Inert Gravel as the substrate for my tank. What is the foreground that i can use for my tank? Can introduce me to some easy to manage and cheap plants and also the location to get them? I read from other treads about HC and glosso as commonly used foreground plants, glosso seems like a better choice and HC seems to small for my tank. Can someone advice me on this?

Thanks a lot for all your help!

your tank is 60 cm deep, are you using Metal Halide? PL and T5 do not have the penetration power. If not glosso and HC most likely will grow tall instead of creeping

Then you need to find low light foreground plant. Hairgrass, Elatine triandra might work.

    cheapest probably from fellow forumer

LFS usually all have about the same price. Some are slightly cheaper but you might end up paying for the transport fee.
