Just wondering, to minimise increasing nitrate levels, is the use of dead rocks advisabe, since most use it as part of deco? Anyone here using it? How long sld cycling be done & is the use of liquid cycling solution gd ? Thanks.

your definition of dead rocks might be wrong.. coz dead rocks means no forms of coraline algae growing on them.. if really means dead rocks, nothing can be saved.. they are rotten to the core.... as for cycling of tank.. for my 4x2x2, i took 4-6 weeks.. for my 2ft.. i started cycling 2 wks back.. will be cycling for another 2 more wks..
avoid using the liquid cycling liquid.. go natural process.. u wun go wrong with it.
