ya.. i'm using a 200l/h filter HOF.. and keeping shrimp.. but there seem to be too much waste stuck below...

Gravel cleaning is not such a great idea in a shrimp tank, because shrimplets like to hide in the gravel.
If you _REALLY_ have to do it, siphon into a bucket and check for shrimplets you may have sucked up before you toss the water out.
