    tinted glass cover?

    hi, i setting up my planted tank halfway then i notice than my tank glass cover is tinted black. my ligth is T5. and i'm keeping moss only. is that okay? or i have to change the cover?

    just remove the cover, unless your tanks have inhabitants that like to prison break.

    just removed the cover if you are not using any air pump. the glass cover imho, is only preventing the water vapour created by the bubbles to form on your light fitting.
