My tank have mostly jawa moss, nanas plant, a bit riccia, a bit glosso and a bit chirtmas moss and other I dont know the name.
(If you all know the plant name please let me know)

I restart my tank with lower grade 16 crs on 14 Dec 2008 and previous 30 cherry.as previous better grade crs doesnot make it.

    Plus 2 small apple snails

I added new idea/knowledge in learn in forum here.

    Thank for all people.

    Coming back to my case

Thing I added are as follow:-
-Added another diy clip fan and maintain temp at 23 to 26 c.
-slowly using dip method to introduce them to new environment
and check the pH and make it the same between water from breeder and my tank...hence less stress for shrimplet
-find the crs from more reliable source breeder.
-add a lot of ketapang leave

    Regular thing I did:
-use to check ammonia and nitrite daily at beginning but most is at reasonable level...so now stop to test it anymore
-feed them with BIomax and JBL Nova shrimp food for 2 time a day and some may 3 times depend thier demand
-sometime feed them with some Aquafin gluey tablet piece which use for my guppy....for extra vitamin in variety food I guess
-clean the filter sponge weekly with water direct from my DEW water fillter, depend my mood or when I see slow water flow rate out from hang over filter.
-daily cleaning the algae on the glass with copstick with small piece sponge.
-trim every week so plant those plant wont grow to long blocking the light to surface for my glosso plant...this cost me a lot for trying this plant.
-check the diy co2 buffering where I add for the plant to grow instead of the plant will go brown and die within a month.
-check Ph level(mostly at 6.5-7.0, otherwise need to remove coral chip at my filter as they tend to go down as I using ADA soil.

    After 15 days
Guess what, they start to breed ...2 crs and 2 cherry.

I hope I can see baby soon.

Anything to do with pegnant shrimp ? as i no experience on this

How many shrimplet my nano tank (30x18X20cm) can support(now i have 30 cherry plus 16 crs less 1 die plus the baby-not yet born and 2 apple snail), will it be overload???,
, I dont have any new tank budget for my shrimplet, somemore my home minister start to control since I have some pre-plan for having a mini chiller in future, will try for dolphin mini chiller which is cheapest among and suit for nano tank in next month after I have my bonus before CNY.

    pegnant shrimplet

    This is my pegnant shrimp.

Sorry for poor quality picture as due to low light.

I guess low temp (23c) help them to breed better.

congrats bro.. you do not have to do anything to/for the shrimplets.. just let them be.. they will be able to survive.. just make sure you cover your filter inlet to prevent them from being suck in..

as for if it is over load.. it all depend on your filter.. what kinda of filter are you using?

    Smile

    ahloy,

I using HOF (dophin H-200). Any problem?
Any indication for filter not effective work towards to growth no. of shrimplet?

today I spotted 1 more cherry pegnant.

total have 4 pegnant spotted(3 cherry and 1 crs)

Will the apple snail disturb small shrimplet?
I worry, so I removed snail to my guppy bowl temporary until the eggs become baby .

i not really a pro in this but been reading lots of post online..

some people say OHF/canister is better cause they can store more BB in it and will help in the tank..

but HOF should be ok.. i'm also using it..

are you using quart as gravel? the bio load might be a problem..

    quart?

I using ada malaya aquasoil +ada powersand + riversand on the top
(front about 2 inch to 3 inci to behind)

The water always crystal clear and no yellowdish on water eventhough few mth never do wc. Just top up water only.

For the past, I aware when I use tank for my guppy (cycling process for 2 month) the waste a lot because I feed a lot, the waste dissolve very fast and clear by filter and hence water flow HOF become slow and I need to clean sponde to resume the normal flowrate weekend, the water no yellow at all even though is over feeding but just algae bloom up on the glass.
