Anyone using an air pump for your shrimp only tank? What is your timing like? Anyone turn on 24/7? Will it affect water parameters?

I do not think any parameters will be affected unless you sprayed chemicals around the tank.

Mine i keep it going "7-eleven".

Since CO2 will lower pH, non-stop O2 supply will raise pH?

The bubbling effect in the tank bring about an exchange of gases between the surroundings of the tank and the tank water.

So not only oxygen will be introduce into the tank water, other gases which is soluble in water will be exchanged into the water. Carbon dioxide will also be introduce definitely, but that will be minimal as compared to oxygen.

Another thing is I doubt sufficient O2 will up our PH.
