Welcome to AQ!
I believe those moss are emersed form.
Don't think they can be grown in a aquarium.

I'm trying to make something out of the disused tank after my children's goldfishes died.
I'm glad to have found AquaticQuotient and learned so much about this hobby.
Right now, I'm planning an aquascape for the 1ft tank and would like to know if there are other mosses besides those green ones, eg. red. I came across this pic in Wiki and would like to share it with everyone.
Warm regards,
See KL

That's a refreshing one.
Hopefully we get to see red mosses hit our shores or have they?

Hi KL See,
Welcome to AQ. That picture is very nice. I also think that an emersed form of moss as mosses rarely if ever produced those 'flowers' underwater. I only noticed some of Singapore moss do that once and I've not been able to repeat conditions.
The red 'mosses' that have hit sometime back are red flame[not popular] and a red liverwort-ugly IMHO.. Looks like algae in wide shots.

Hi skyluck ,
Welcome to the forum.....
Thanks for the welcome.
I saw the moss pearling and thought it was an aquatic plant. Perhaps it was grown emersed first. I wonder if it'd thrive well submersed.
Welcome to AQ. Hope you like the moss. Keep us posted.
