Water condition turning bad? Grab more oxygen? Just guessing...
Whoopie, after the recent birth of the shrimplets from my 4pregnant CRS. Today, I spotted another berried CRS.
I observed that there is a tendency for berried CRS to go up to the top using the frogbit stems. I also remembered my ex-colleague telling me to put those floating plants because the berried CRS need to go up? But why?
Can anyone share why do they do that? So far, I have been snapping pictures of them on the stems. Hope you like the pics.

can't be because other shrimps are not doing so. just the berried CRS.

My sakura shrimps and those CRS in my office, they all did the same thing. Upside down or stick near to the sponge filter. They are very shy hidden here and there. Only real hungry then come to eat.
hmm for me my sakuras and cherries hid in the moss and did not move away for 1-2weeks until they have gave birth.. but i've yet to see the young shrimps yet
My sakura also did likewise, but for my case, they are trying to get near to the floating food that is on the water surface.
Food, and more oxygen. My yamotos do the same thing, they love to eat the surface film. Probably high in protein rich bacteria.
