    Hi guys

I'm very new at this... is it true that most Sulawesi shrimps do not live past 1 month? I was told this after I bought 2 for my Xmas tank

Here are some pix of my beauty

It depends... Quite a number of people has successfully kept them... and under different conditions. The problems i do face is that different shops keep them under different conditions... Some keep with CRS etc..

Personally, I bought a few batch and actually i do notice that if i alter the parameters.. so species will wipe out.. but another will thrive.. and vice versa.. So, I'll suppose that keeping different species in different tanks might help alot.. especially that the parameters for each shrimps (even though all of them are sulawesi shrimp) haven't been confirmed.

My 4 cardinal sulawesi shrimps with CRS in a 35cm tank already started to breed since 2 months ago from Hougang ave 8 LFS. Presently see only 1 shrimplet in there. The shrimplet is orange in color like sakura.

I also started keeping them. My gravel is lined with coral chips and temperature can reach 30 degrees. So far 4 days still living.
