Hi bros, I am staying the Upp Serangoon Area.
Can anyone advice me which shop sells reasonablely and give me some advice on the models to use and price indication. My tank is 4ft by 1.5ft by 1.5ft.
I DON'T mind travelling to East side also.

I bought mine from NA in Balestier area.
I would recommend at least the Atman CF-1000 for you 4x1.5x.1.5
I am running a CF-1000 on my 3.5ft and a CF-600 on my 2ft. Pretty happy with both of them, but do note that they don't come with bio media, have to budget additionally for biohome or bio-rings.
Bought my CF-1000 today.
Learn something new... One shop that is $20 cheaper does not provide warranty, the other one will provide... had checked with the more expensive shop and he said it is because of parallel import being cheaper but no warranty.....
Bought the one with warranty, got 2 pack of free biomaterial, plus change of tube from atman 5ft to ehiem 7ft at additional $4.
Anyone has any idea how frequent must I clean the canisiter filter?
And how should I arrange the filter media... There are only 2 trays....

The Prices at NA are also not bad, I bought mine there.
Order should be as follows:
Top Tray Bio-rings, biohome etc.
Middle Tray Coarse Foam.
Under the two trays fine Foam.
These canisters draw in from the top to bottom, then back up the top through that
hole in the trays.
Do you guys think we can discuss the price openly in the forume?
