wah I like your crypts, what are they?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Not too sure, I think they are C.wendtii. When at Teo's, I just pointed at the crypts in the 9ft tank and this was what they gave me.

if u don't mind my suggestion: the right side feels a bit too green heavy, given the red heavy left. I would take out the Mayaca and replace it with the Rotala wallichi to balance the colour composition. Then use a few crinum natans or crypt retrospiralis where the wallichi is now for textural constrast, since the middle is heavy on fine-leafed plants.
Otherwise, very solid tank and healthy plants!
Can I buy a handful of ur foreground tenellus(spelling?
Very nice setup. ur plants are very healthy, wat is the spec of ur tank?
Don't bother if its Black cats or White cats, so long as it can catch Rats. Its a Good Cat.
Nice!!! Yeah the reds are concentrated mostly in the center. Why not post the specs of your tank? [:]
Btw, what's the name of the plant, front row second from the right, the long stem plant?

Thanks for your comments
Budak, yeah the colours are sort of off balance. It's actually because of the lights. After adding your e.stellata, I changed a couple of the PL tubes on that left side. Tried growing the r.wallichi in the center, but the safety glass plane coupled with the fact that the center portion of the light fixtures are where the ballasts sit means there just wasn't enough lighting intensity. On the right side, I actually have some h.polysperma 'sunset' to add a bit of pink, but it's been trimmed a bit too much methinks
TTL, no need to sell lah, I can give you some next time I trim. How much do you need?
Joe, specs are similar to what's in the 'My tanks' section except fert regime is a bit different now.
At weekly water change:
1.5ml Seachem Flourish
K2SO4 for 20ppm K
KNO3 for 5ppm N03
A couple of E15 tablets
midweek: 1.5ml Seachem Flourish
KH 4, PH 6.5 to 6.8

Joe, I guess you mean the thin leaved plant next to the crypts? It's blyxa japonica, on the right of that is Heteranthera zosteraefolia or stargrass.

Oh did not know blxya japonic can grow so long ... heh![]()

Wow! Looking good. So different from the last picture.
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Nice!! Looks like you're cultivating some algae on the driftwood?
I think it's C. wendtii too.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
