I thing there was a same discussion not so long ago
Anyway mine is pH = 7 and kH = 0, I stay at telok blangah. However, PUB just change the water piping in the area, so not sure if the parameter effected.
Recently I have moved to being extremely accurate with my water chemistry; namely PH and KH.
My present IN-TANK PH and KH amounts:
PH - 6.80
KH - 4~5
Before I started becoming so particular, my PH would almost always be 7.60 and KH was apologetically a whopping 0. I'd wrestle with all kinds of PH up and PH down, left's and right's. And get the hardness up.
In a nutshell, I moved house and I completely forgot to check the PH and KH from the home tap!.
My present HOME PH and KH amounts:
PH - 8.50~8.60 (WOAH!)
KH - What KH? None!
Now for the interesting part
I drink hotwater mostly if not all of the time, so:
PH (Boiled Water) - 7.50~7.60
KH (Boiled Water) - Unchanged
The PH of boiled water when down?!
So what's your PH and KH of your home tap?
