    Looking for the Ruby tetra.. any idea which LFS have stock? like the way they swim and hunt for food.. and the super ruby red colour

    I think Polyart sells them during the weekend in bags of 20
    4x2x2 ft tank (2 x 2028 ): Cardinal, Ember and Neon Tetras, Cherry Barbs, Panda, Pygmaeus and Hasbrosus cories, Clown and Coolie loach, L134 and non-ID pleco, Common and giant otos, Whiptails and Yamato, Cherry and Malayan Shrimps
    3x1.5x1.5 ft tank ( Eheim 2028 ) Retired
    1x1x1 ft tank ( Eheim 2041 ): 2 goldfish

    Try Biotope. Saw them there end december.
    Do not confuse them with the ember tetra, they look alike. One good indication is price, usually more than $1SGD

    Saw some in Midori...The differences will be the black line at the caudal fin area (ember tetras don't have them)

    cant seems to find them anywhere.. haha... amber is bigger them ruby rite?

    I've tried looking for ruby some time back, maybe last year but so far no luck. Amber tetras however are some new tetras that i see Colorful brought in sometime in sep.

    looking for small small fish to fill up my planted tank.. now only have 100+ Boraras urophthalmoides.. Boraras brigittae is a bit too ex to keep in such a amount:P

    ? uroph and briggittae are about the same in pricing. Both are either 0.80 each or 1 bag 100x is about $6 i think. But the only LFS that supplies these amount is only seaview. Getting from y618/c328/colorful however does have better breeds and you can pick male from the females.

    Ember tetra is slightly smaller than ruby tetra,but its not very obvious.

    I seen the adult ember.. they are big..
    want some small redish fish other then cardinal or neon.. haha

    A. riesei and Hyphessobrycon amandae grow up to +- 2.5 cm SL. There is really not a lot of differences in their size. If you are seeing something that is much larger...

    Midori has ruby tetra in stock now. Saw about 10+ pieces left when i was there just now.
