Chan don't have it? I thought he sells them....maybe its out of stock? You can try your luck at C328.

You have to ask Chan. He will get it for you normally in a day or two. Alternatively, Aquatechnic has the Dupla one for S$195 each.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
hi benny can i also ask u abt Dennerle Co2 night cut off unit? u know how does it work? do i need anything extra to operate it??
Morpheus, it works with the Dennerle pH controller only.

oh ok thanks
You don't need the Dennerle pH controller to use the night cut off unit. It's basically a solenoid. Same as any taiwan/italian brand. There's two version on the market, one old (S$190)and one new (S$280). Both are list price before discount. The new one has a new casing and a light indicator (waste of time because you can always check the bubble counter).----------------

do u know if it works with a regulator that has only one guage? or do i need to get one with 2 gauges?
The solenoid/night cut off unit is powered by electricity. You will have one CO2 cable in and another CO2 cable out. When the power is on, there is CO2 flow. Likewise, when the power is cut off by the timer controlling your light, the CO2 flow is stopped. This device works independently of your regulator. If you want, you can come up to my place when we go to Teo's this weekend to have a look.----------------

doesn't matter.----------------

they are totally separate and function independently of each other. the solenoid valve will also work with a regulator that has no gauges(if such regulator exist???).
gauges are used for indicating pressure while the solenoid valve is used for turning on/off the co2, think of it as a 'electrically controlled tap'.

i thought it needed one with 2 guages cause i remembered chris saying the solenoid he bought from bioplast didnt work and it needed a regulator with 2 guages..

Speaking of Regulators...
I'm giving up on my green regulator soon, always had the problem that the "trapped" gases push down the supposely turning balls and soon, the balls will stop turning and not breaking up CO2 anymore. I'm using only about 3-4 bps.
Thinking of getting the Dennerle Cyclo 5000 for my 4' tank but before investing, would like to hear more views about CO2 output devices. How about the External regulators compared to green regulator and Cyclo?
er...Goondoo...I think you are talking about CO2 reactor.----------------

Isn't External Reactor for CO2?!?! *confused*![]()
Sorry for my mistake on the night-cut off valve from dennerle...the power socket sure looks like it fit only the pH controller hole though.
Goondoo, an external reactor is basically like an internal reactor except it is placed outside and also depends largely on your canister filter flow rate to control the efficiency of the mixing.
Plant Physiology by Taiz and Zeiger
Both regulators and reactors are for CO2. Regulator to dispense CO2 and reactor to disolve CO2. I think in your haste, you were talking about your green regulator....when you actually meant reactor.----------------

Sorry... was shocked after hearing the deceased of my wife's granny... was checking with the airlines for air ticket back to SG while writing that post...
My condolences.----------------

Hey, no needy to apologise, we all learn as we go along. I find it funny because initially I was making the same mistake and insisting that shop to include the reactor with the CO2 cylinder when it's obviously an optional extra!
Anyway, here are a few discussion on the external CO2 reactors.

Discussion 2 Note the last post on DIY modification.

Anyone have picture of external reactor to shown?
Thinking of changing the Normal CO2 reactor (green color with bioball inside as it create a lot of noise when bioball turning)
