How to differentiate Anubias barteri var nana "Mini" and "Petite"?

There was a same thread before but does not really answer the question. I saw at Mizu World they sell 2 differently at different prices.

Maybe you would like to check with them why there is a differences between those Anubias and pricing.. or maybe it from different supplier?

I personally feels that these two Anubias could be different. Any expertise can help?

Both are probably mutan version of nana. It should different somehow since they are different prices.

Not sure about the ones Mizu is selling, but if you look at the ones carried by C328, there are quite a few sizes. The "petite" ones are the pots inside the tank that is at >2 times the price of the "mini".

Last time I bought nana petite, they become normal nana size after some time in good light, good CO2 dan fert condition. While the normal nana would go bigger and bigger in my tank until each leaf could reach in excess the size of my toe.

At least such is what happened to those anubias I bought 3-4 years ago.
I havent bought any more ever since. They just grow steadily, more than enough for my stock from 20-25 leaves to 200+.

I cannot say about nowadays variant. Maybe folks have cracked the correct genetic code to keep them permanently small.

my normal nana leave length is around 4 to 5 cm where as my mini (or maybe petite not sure which one) only 1.5cm to 2cm. Both are at the same tank.
