Yep, I bought the shorter one. It's really well made and well painted. Can tell the quality of giesemann products, with giesemann box, instructions etc.. I was hesitating whether to get the silver or black one since my mh is black, cabinet is dark wood but wall is lily white. In the end, I chose the silver one to match my wall. What do you think? hope my decision is correct.

bro sign, I noticed that you just drill the bar straight into the wall. The guy at reefdepot told me to get 2 pieces of wall mount plates from DIY shop (it's like a wooden rectanglar block) and use it to drill into the wall mount and then wall. Like that more secure due to usual uneven surface of wall. Do you think it's neccessary? A bit KS to me...

I very much prefer the silver too, IMO, to match the wall is more important than matching the lightset.

That is a better idea, I do face the uneven surface problem. Also, mine is 3ft, not as heavy as yours' 4ft, cannot play play, better be KS a bit
