Hey Everyone,
Dropped by Midori at Suntec today and there they were: the rare TIGER OTTOS! They looked decent, smaller than zebra ottos. And selling at a very good price compared to what they used to sell for before - atleast from what I've heard.
Tiger Otto price at Midori: $10 (each)
Another cool looking fish they had were 'flag tailed' corys. Slightly more elongated than a regular cory but also with black and white horizontal stripes on the caudal (? the big one?) fin. Don't remember how much they were.
As nice (and affordable) the tiger ottos were going for, IMO, I still prefer the look of the Zebra Ottos over them. Just my opinion though.
ZANE.
among other things, they also have the "green" otto, Carnegiella myersi (not that common hatchetfish), very active Corydorus habrosus, Dwarf pencils, 3-line pencils...

Oh, these too. Tiny things which only seems to eat microworms floating pass.
Anyone can ID them?

i saw this tiny fishes weeks ago at colourful.. in bags.
Sorry dudes, side track for a bit while we're on Colorful.
CK Yeo, may I know what's that fish in your avatar?
I saw a bag of cyprinids in Colorful maybe early December containing some kind of rasboras ( I believe). Ask the guy but he doesn't know what it is.
The fish has silverish/whitish body except the head region which is orange, kind of like your avatar.
Any ideas? Thanks.
The fish you saw was Sawbwa resplendens
My avatar is Golden rummynose tetra.

Has anyone successfully been keeping tiger oto alive in their aquarium, and how long?
Was chatting with the uncle regarding tiger oto. He commented that they should be kept with peaceful fishes because they're not very durable to attacks from others (his experiences with keeping them).
The role of master and servant begin to cloud in the water..
