    How much does a 3ft PL light cost ? If there is "PL" word on e tube, does it mean its a PL tube ? How much does a PL tube cost ?

    Do check with this web page http://www.ahsupply.comon on PL lighting. There's pictures showing how it looks like and the sizes available. Do search through the archived posts in this Equipment forum as well.

    Prices depending from manufacturer to manufacturer and which hardware shop or LFS you buy from. Eg. an AEC 36W PL 6500K should be around $10 or so. Osram brand cost more I think.

    AEC tubes are not so easy to get anymore due to the poor quality in the previous batch. Osram tubes are about 6000K if compared to a 6500K tube is slightly (juz a little) yellow.
