Hi I've recently changed my triple-deck OHF to the Eheim 2226 for my 2 ft. While I'm quite impressed with the crystal-clear water that results I am concerned that either my fish is not getting enough O2 or my plants not enough CO2. You see I notice that the water goes into and out of the Eheim without any contact with air (unlike my OHF) so I'm not sure if there's enough gaseous exchange. I'm not really in favour of a spray bar as I think it will cause the pellets I feed my guppies to sink faster. But anyways does the spray bar works? Are there other alternatives to up the gas exchange? Thanks in advance

Hi Aria, in my opinion, as long as you dont see your fishes gasping on the surface in the morning should be ok. Insufficient O2 usually only occurs if you have the tank too heavily planted.
