Female CRS usually die after giving birth

So far all my female CRS will die after giving birth except for one which died after the second birth. They seemed to be eating but less and will just die a week or so later after the shrimplets hatched.

Does anyone have any advise?

There are some possibilities:
1)Too weak body, due to lack of food,mineral or vitamin
2)Too many males CRS chasing after her
3)No place to hide
4)Poor water condition

Make sure she get to eat when she is pregnant.

They may not go for solid food, some brown algae around is good

improve water quality, give best filter

i think they give birth to young living shrimplet just that the egg they "lay" is keep in the sack where is kept till the egg turn to shrimplet.. any old bird/pro to correct me if i am wrong?

Old bird confirm. The larvae hatches from 'mama's pouch' as miniatures and assumes a 'benthic lifestyle'.

'benthic lifestyle' means what ahr? sorry my english not very good.

Benthic means living on the ground (on or in the sediment) – the opposite would be pelagic which means swimming free.
