Benny,
I was at Thomson Road nursery the other day and had a look around while shopping for CNY flowers. I bought a pack of drip valves from Gardena whch set me back by about $20. I'm wondering if you have any advice on how I can connect the drip valves to a PVC manifold bringing aged water from a storage tank?
Thanks!

Some of the gardening equipment may not be suitable. My parents use those for their garden hoses and I find that after some time they start to leak at the connection. Maybe because of daily connection-disconnection and drying due to exposure to sun and heat. They are also easy-release, which I find too easy... may lead to accidental release, or auto-release when they get old and worn out.
The Ehiem and other aquarium brands use the screw connection which are more secure and less likely to leak.
As for the reduced diameter... I don't think it will affect much as it's only a small difference. Personally, I did not notice much difference in my set up. Also, if each diameter is the same, only the first one will reduce the flow rate. After that, the flow rate is already adjusted for the subsequent ones.
I had enough pairs such that every inline equipment can be individually removed.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Hi,
These are Fluval taps.
I got them from a friend who decided to quit the hobby, it came along with the filter (which had since expired).
I don't know where you can find them, and how much they would costs, but just thought I share some pictures of it with folks here so if you come across them in LFS, you'd know what they are.![]()

In my own opinion, I think the eheim one looks much nicer and neat.
