have sourced several websites showing how they did it.
still wondering about it as i realli do not want to install pendants on the ceiling...
nonetheless serious consideration will be taken.
well my plans are to in corporate 2 x 18" window fan (1 blowing in and 1 sucking out) on the top of the hood.4 x 4 " DC fans .(2 sucking out and 2 blowing in at the side of the hood.
back of the hood will be left open for more ventilation.
and a piece of tempered glass will be slotted under the hood to prevent water splashes and act as UV-filter(p.s. bulb is UV-p already).4 x daylight flourescent tube to be installed into the hood.2 at the front end and 2 at the back end of hood.
1/3 of hood could be lifted up on top of 2/3 of hood to allow easy access.
or whole top part of hood could be lifted up by means of a lever.

    think my plan will work?
