    How to measure CO2 level in the tank?

    hi bros

    would like to ask you guys how would i be able to measure CO2 levels inside my 2ft tank.

    what should i do to measure if:

    my tank substrate is base fertilizer + lapis sand

    or

    my tank substrate is ADA Amazonia II

    general answer: if you do not have anything that effect water pH or kH, you can use the pH vs kH table to determine your CO2 level. But if you have something that effect your water pH or kH, such as peat, ketapang leaves, ADA soil, etc, you need drop checker.

    Yes, it's a drop checker. You can create your own KH4 solution easily. Do a search on drop checker.

    that is the other way, you need pH meter for that as mention. I personally prefered drop checker, many assumption to these method.

    They all similar, working with the same priciple, just different look. I myself preffered the glass version (ADA knock off). Since you are using ADA aquasoil, use kH = 4 solution instead of your tank water. There is old thread on this.
