    Hi guys,

i recently brought a JBJ regulator w solenoid.
the regulator is connected to a valve > bubble counter > valve > reactor.

the problem is everytime the co2 is turned on, the water from the reactor will slowly flow upwards after a while. i am not sure whether this is due to the pressure from the regulator not strong enough or the power head connected to the reactor is too powerful.

the reading on the regulstor is 1000 and 20 psi.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

It is normal, just buy better check valve or you can turn on your powerhead at the same time as your CO2 or you can set your solenoid to on few time for a while during the light off just to push the water back. So far I think the metal check valve is the best.

I don't think that is a problem, I have been using that for years.

did you put a check valve on both the inlet and otlet of CO2?

found the problem, it is due to a leaking check valve.
the drop in pressure causes the water to backflow, just went to NA and brought new ones, the reactor is working fine now.
    thanks.

current setup is: co2 regulator > check valve > bubble counter > check valve > reactor
