Did you disconnect everything when you are not using it or just leave it connected to the reactor/diffuser etc? Did water actually backed up into the solenoid valve?

Ah... I see a possible cause here.

Always use a check valve esp for CO2 system that is hooked to a pressurized water system such as inline or internal reactor.

When the solenoid goes off, the water pressure may push and end up into the solenoid, hence ruining it (esp if the CO2 line is short enough, not allowing compression equal to withstand the water pushing pressure). This goes the same to conventional regulator as well, which spoil faster when water-damaged.

Solenoid burnt out is a normal problem especially if you stop using for a period of time. Bring down your unit to NA they will replace it for you. Cost is less then $50.

I did leave it connected to the diffuser for quite awhile before disconnecting it. i use a check valve, But not too sure if water did went back into the solenoid.
