Strange white dots/sacs on my fishtank wall

Hi all, I just found them and quickly transferred all my fish to another tank which I was going to transfer them too anyways so the water was all ready.

Now I wonder if that was too hasty a thing to do. Maybe I should have quarantined the fishes first.

Its white dotted sacs that just seems to be on my fish tank glass. Are they eggs (in which case I will kick myself) or parasites or aliens?

Some sites say they are harmless, others say they are eggs.

Have 4 longest lasting feeder goldfishes, 7 adopted barbs and 3 guppies.
Fishes are now fine though in the new tank but lord knows if they are infected. ( Yes I know I watch too many B grade movies)

Think they look the same. Never thought of taking a photo. Panicking was all I did!

Anyway, cleaned out the tank. So no more snail eggs.
