    Co2 drop checker remain yellow even when Co2 is stopped being pumped into the water .


    anyone can advise why is this happening ? from last night till now , its still yellow and from 1am last night i stopped pumping Co2 into the water .

    whats the cause ??

    Which drop checker you using? Did you add in the correct drops of CO2 test? What is your water pH?

    do you use ADA Aquasoil, peat or other thing that change your tank water paramter? if so did you use kH = 4?

    ok guys i found out the problem , it seems theres a layer of slime covering the drop checker as seen , i suspect my anetome helenas for that but any idea why they do that ?

    are you using DIY CO2? I only see that kind of stuff when I used DIY CO2.

    no im using normal pressurised canister , my fish tank doesnt have this .... my shrimp tank does .... hmmm

    unless you are injecting a large amount of dissolved CO2 into tank else the swings or difference between CO2 on/off will not spark a colour difference in your indicator.

    no im not , its only at 1 Bps ... not sure why its like that however my fish tank doesnt seem to have this problem .
