nice scaping... but to me the highest rock on the left seems weird... and quite out of place....
Wow... another iwagumi.I find the lighting is abit too high. IMO

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! TIME TO LAY BACK AND RELAX!
A Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With A Single Step
Verminator: No problem. Will update soon.
Planted86: Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to achieve a cliff like scape thus the reason behind the chosen main rock. I am still sourcing for smaller rocks to balance the whole scape.
Blue33: I have always wanted to have a go at an Iwagumi scape. After playing around with normal scapes and understanding plants, fertilizers and lighting better, an Iwagumi is the only way to go.
I thought will have strange looking house or garden when i saw the thread title. Hee hee. My ideal landscape is to make a death valley like the one in the Lord of the Rings.
Nice scape you have there, bro. HC and Hair grass are such a good contrast! Keep it up.
So many iwagumi these days. Haha.
I like your main rock, it conveys a sense of power and dominance to me.
Iwagumi craze, it is a trend now
I don't like the main rock though, it look odd compare to the rest of the rock.
Update on setup:
Currently still looking for rocks to balance out the scape. Anyone seen small rocks in any of the LFS in the north or central parts of Singapore?
The scape is growing nicely and the HC lawn is starting to cover the entire tank.
Had some issues with GSA. Tried adding nerite horned snails but it caused mayhem in the tank as some of my HC were uprooted by them. Took them out and placed them in my other tank. Back to scraping the walls of the tank during water changes. Nothing beats using a bit of elbow grease.
Will update with pictures soon.

is there a unique way you intend on keeping the hair grass from over taking the tank?
Fertilization:
EI Dosing with twice weekly water changes.
sorry for the noob question but wads EI?
EI dosing stands for Estimative Index Dosing. A simple google search will bring up a far better explanation that what i can offer.
Fab tank there mate...

Kevinicus: There is no special way in dealing with the hairgrass. All I do is trim away the runners that are spreading towards unwanted areas. Instead of cutting horizontally, I cut vertically into the substrate. Then I use my tweezers and pull it out. It's pretty tedious work, but this is all part of having a planted tank.
Monstar: As explained by Verminator, EI stands for Estimative Index. If you want a more thorough explanation on this subject, here's a link for you:

Verminator: Thanks for the compliment dude. So how's your upcoming 2 footer Iwagumi doing? Is it already up and running or is it still in the planning stages?
My 2ft is still an empty tank sat on the side currently. I just need to get substrate, rocks and plants and i'm set to try my hand at it. Everything is all waiting on finances at the moment, awaiting my pay check![]()

Looking good... can see your floating plants are really thriving!
Verminator: Can't wait to see how your scape will look like. Will definitely be worth waiting for.
Jervis: Thanks for the compliment. The floating plants are really enjoying the high amount of lights and fertilizers. I have to say, EI is really doing wonders to the tank. And dude, your competition tank looks dope. It's looking better and better after every update.
