Hi bro, I have exactly the same Bitaeniata 'Tefe Bauana' also bought from Biotope just after CNY. Maybe, our fishes are from same batch.

The fish is indeed very beautiful. I love the yellow face/belly and blue fins (sometimes changes to red when flaring at mirror). Hope your pair will spawn very soon.

Nice yellow face and belly! Good healthy body shape too.

I can see a long dorsal membrane from the bitae in your pic. Did you get that bitae paracuuba with the super long dorsal membrane? That specimen is superb! IMO, the best i have seen in Singapore so far. It looked similar to your avatar! Maybe even longer membrane...

And guys, show us some flaring pictures of your little gems!

    Hi there bro,
Haha thanks. The Paracuuba is hard to capture. What micro-lens would you recommand for shooting fishes?
    My next target
    - Apistogramma Elizabeth 'Icana'
    - Apistogramma Diplotenia

Currently feeding this apistos with ADA Gold Series, BBS, Hikari Blood worms and Tetra complete Bit.

    Cheers.

Yes will be setting up a 2ft apistogramma breeding tank and concentrate on apistogramma in that tank only. Maybe next week? Cause currently having some courses and have no time to setup. Will post more pictures soon.

HAHA ... I will take turns to breed these apistogrammas, first i will start with Apisto Bit 'Paracuuba' then follow by Tefe Bauana due to the bright colours of the 'Paracuuba' female, thus i am eager to spawn them first

Yeah... The earlier you start, the earlier you get results..
But some thing just can't rush them..
    Let natural take it's course..

Do you put caves or driftwoods inside this tank?
They are very interesting little fish... If you put caves, the female will guard her caves and chase off any intruders when breeding moods.. Same with driftwoods but they will dig a hole in the side just beside the driftwood... Very interesting...!
