starfish 's egg

hi to everyone,

I bought a starfish and it laid eggs.I suspect that my

water is being contaminated by toxins.All my corals have

shrunk for the last few days.

What should I do now?

mmmmmm i always tot starfish dun lay eggs.

im not too sure but u best bet is to do a 20-30% water change. u can olso siphon out the eggs.

normally in most cases, the eggs r not poisonous to to corals but to the fish if they eat them. same case wif the sea apple which lays eggs be4 it dies.

i only know some species of starfishes can procreate by themselves when they are cut into two.. but dun know whether they lay eggs or not.. never come across that situation b4.. u had me dumbfounded.[]

thanks.it may be excretion due to self defence.

it is orange in color.
