Thinking of getting a CO2 tank for my office fish tank

I work near city - can visit NA and C328 during lunchtime

Seaview is near my house but i can only visit them during weekend

Considering cost and ease of topping up etc, which would be a better option?

Depends on which LFS you prefer. Since it is for your office tank, it would be easier to get from C328 or NA. C328 and NA has a package for CO2 tanks.

Anyway, you would be topping up the CO2 tank till at least 3-6months or even a year, if you get a 5L version

Get the dual gauge regulator with or without solenoid. NA should be nearer to your work place and you can do one-to-one exchange for CO2 topup. I am not sure whether C328 does one-to-one exchange or not.

Actually it depends on the size of your office fish tank. If is a 3-4 ft. you should consider at lease 3.4lt CO2 tank. If is a 1-2.5lt a 2lt CO2 tank should be good enough. If is just a nano tank then aim for those small 1lt or 95ml nano CO2 tank.

ok thanks - i'll give each of them a call and compare prices :P

i am using a 2ft - but may "upgrade" to a 2.5ft tank since it is lying around unused...

several years ago i bought a 10l co2 tank from industral estate in kallang (which i gave away) - yesterday i called, the price has increased from $110 to $200 - so i guess i'll go for a 2l version this time

btw is solenoid necessary? will there be adverse effect injecting 24hrs CO2 for 2ft tank

Just to add, one to one exchange for NA for sizes from 2L to 5L is the same price.

Something for you to consider. If space is not limited, just get the 5L if you're going to be in this hobby for a long time.
