Hi there. I've just done a simple test on this new breed of atomiser, it looks like an airstone but is not. I need more time to test this product on my new setup tank, which can further test on this product. I'm really shocked to see this product can produce super fine CO2 which non of the product can do currently on the market. The mixing is so fine and stable that you would not believe it. From what i knew is this product may not work for the very old type of regulator as it need the pressure to drive it out. It measured from <7cmX1cm with screwcap for the CO2 tube. Those bubbles on the photo are actual CO2 bubbles. Here's the pictures. Please dont ask where i got it or price before these things really work for me.

You can see the water surface of those fine bubbles still remain there.

Looks like a better engineered atomiser to me.

Have you tried the one by Dymax? If so, how would you compare the two?

The UP CO2 atomizer gives out the same mist as well but the back-pressure is pretty high.

The picture shown is around 5-7bps, i did test on 2bps, the result was very satisfactory.

Yes Peter, the back pressure needs abit to drive the CO2, so far i notice the 2bps is still quite smooth compare to those normal ceramic diffuser, that guy who sold the thing has tested for 6mths and the result is really satisfactory and from the look of it, there's no algae grown on the atomiser he's using, maybe he clean it or so.

The Dymax diffusers might be comparable if you tried them, for their size and price it's definitely something worth comparing to. Do give us more info on your diffuser, looks pretty good as it is.

I've tried the dymax atomiser. the problem is that the hose connection part will leak out some big bubbles.. not sure if change to good quality tubing is better or not . my tank surface also cover with alot of fine bubbles.

Same here..noticed larger bubbles leaking from edge at times, quite annoying actually.Though i still get misting i'm always uptight about my wasted co2! So...any more information regarding the atomizer you're using blue33? Pricing, availability etc?

    Re: New Breed of Atomiser

Hi there, thank you for so much interest in this product. Currently i've stopped testing it, due to sharing of few CO2 outlet at one solenoid regulator only, it's more ideally to use single CO2 outlet to test it due to back pressure. Meanwhile i've put on hold, unless i got another solenoid regulator to test.

Btw this product is not available in Singapore yet if i'm not wrong, the seller said this product is only 6mths old from its released. Is still very new in their country.

    Re: New Breed of Atomiser

Looks nicer and finer in diffusion than the one I'm using currently, and definitely less intrusive. You say not to ask where you got it and for how much but I'm still interested in knowing if you ever do release that info, looks like a great product you have there.
