Slightly make sense if you put activated carbon in your filter, but then you need to turn off through out the photo periode![]()

Just to check, will people/ forumer do this?
heard from this uncle when i was at my coy canteen, he say he was very expert at planted tank. he state. alot of people just pour all chemical/fert with switching off the filter system. all fert will react with filter blah blah blah and plant get zero. hence the algae..
is this true? myself, i just pour with filter system on. for feeding bloodworm i will off the filters only.
