Is there any issues with mixing black diamonds and CRS in the same tank? Would that result in poorer offsprings or offsprings with non pure BDS or CRS (i.e. not fully red or black)?

    Thanks for any advise.
    Cheers,
    Joe

The BDS you can get is likely "no pure", they are dominant black with red recessive genes. Since Black is dominant, a cross with black genes will alway appear as black.

But BDS appears as brown in most cases nowsday.

Those BDS that I got lately are brown. I thought the water condition is not optimal for them. So the reason is due to mixed genes.
