    Hi,
Two and a half weeks ago I rescaped my 40 Gallon aquarium and have added a few more plants including dwarf baby tears.
My pruned and relocated my rotala macrandra and it lost it's redness considerable. The drawf baby tears seems to be producing runners but looks pale.
I have 4 watts per gallon. Dose Pottasium, Iron, Flourish, Trace elements every other day. Co2 2 bubbles per second at around 25 ppm. Despite the lack of color, Plants seem to be growing well.
Hygrophilla corymbosa looked rough for the first week but is making a comeback.
    Need advice please.

as you mentioned that you shifted your rotala, is the plant obstructed from the light? How is the lighting at the area where your rotala is? Red plants need high light intensity. maybe you can try to relocate your rotala to its original position to investigate the factor that is causing the plants to lose their redness

Since you relocated your plants, I assumed you trimmed the roots too. The plants are adapting all over again just like a new tank, so they probably has not started growing too much yet

Ya, I would say give it a month or 2, see how it goes. My plant turn brownish when i relocate them. But after 3 weeks, it started to turn back green.

    Hey,
Thanks for the advice. I started to relocate the Macrandra and discovered that it wasn't frully planted into the substrate.
Have since relocated it and planted them fully. They look a lot better.
    Thanks again.
