New Life Spectrum. There's no better food![]()
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone feeds their apistos with sinking pellets? I try and give them a variety of food, from live brine shrimps to frozen blood worms. But on days when time is short, I'm looking to give them dry food.
Any advice on brand of sinking pellets? Where can I get them? I've been looking around many LFS, but can't seem to find anything that I feel comfortable in giving my Apistos....
Thanks

Tetra Bits,some like the redness.
Love all,Trust few,Do wrong to none
Both Tetrabits and NLS pellets are ok with my apistos.
ADA AP series, TetraPro Colour, NLS and TetraBits works well for me.

I feed my apisto on NLS (All Purpose & Thera+ forumla), Tetrabits Complete & ADA AP-3. They sure love these.
All the above mentions are quite good for apistogramma but they intend to be ficky and more willing to take it live foods, like brineshrimps...
Personally i will let my apistogramma take in a varties of live and dry foods as they will absorb different types of vitamins which a dry food doesn't provide.

My apisto love brine shrimp! Unfortunately adult brine shrimps usually ran out fast...

I'll second the New Life Spectrum. Most fish I've fed it to favour it over freeze-dried brine shrimp or blood worm. I haven't tried the ADA foods, though.
