Use of wave maker

For years I was plagued with BBA on plants, in particular the nanas and narrow-leaf fern. I tried all the recommended solutions, such as, increasing CO2, reducing lighting, cutting down on ferts, and enhancing water movement by adjusting the canister output. However, not too much improvement. In desperation, I installed a wave maker above the CO2 glass diffuser. It works and BBA was drastically reduced! The only problem is the wave maker, being black and relatively big, does not blend in with the aquascape!
