I keep seeing this stone with veins of granite and jagged mountain like sheer lines in aquascaping. What is it? I come from a place where there's mountains that look like your hardscape, but there aren't rocks like that around here.

im not too sure bro, i only know its called granite rocks?

We have granite here, too. It doesn't quite look the same though- usually coarser textures and a range of shades/layering.

Ah, Thank you. I'll write that down. It doesn't seem to come up for many search results on google, and all of them are fish keeping related. Is it an ADA product?
It is rather hard to get hold of. I've certainly struggled. Purchasing from an online retailer seems to be the easiest way i've found so far.

PS: plants inside the tub getting more and more..

get the internal co2 diffuser with the balls inside.. abit big to put inside your tank but the dissolving rate is 100%. using airstone will likely waste alot of expensive CO2..

im using a nano co2 ceramic diffusor not an airstone.

tank set up already.. pretty ulgy looking. quite dissapointed will post pic later.

Don't get too disappointed; things always look ugly at first. I'm never happy until each plant has gotten the right color, density or growth in to a fractal sort of pattern.

things arrive at me on monday evening.. i was wondering how should i scape with just a thick "head" wood..
after many many many tries of different way i just cant make the wood stand up right or at a slanted angle due to its heavy head.. so i had to make it at a sleeping position..
the rocks are used to push up the gravel..
and heres the overall shot.. plants not fully in yet.. i still need more didiplis diandra..
co2 set at 1bps but my drop checker is yellowish which means too much co2.. am i using it in the right way?
